SUMMARY:Service of Music\, Dance & Embodiment with Longmont Unitarian Universalist Presence
DESCRIPTION:Resilience is not just the ability to bounce back from adversity but it’s the tending\, holding and shaping that allows us to grow our inner and collective capacity to meet darkness\, grief\, and loss while still moving toward that which is generative and life-affirming. \nAs people of hope\, living in tragically unjust and uncertain times\, it is our important work to bear witness to that which is heartbreaking while simultaneously holding space for that which is possible. \nIn June\, July and August\, on the 4th Fridays\, we’ll explore together a series: in creative conversation\, singing and gentle embodiment practices\, the 7 principles outlined in adrienne maree brown’s groundbreaking Emergent Strategy which lays out a blueprint for how we can care for ourselves\, each other and our communities in order to birth the new world that we know is coming.
