Welcome
During this important time of transformation on our planet, I am honored and grateful to walk hand in hand and heart in heart with so many people navigating the challenges of life. By whatever name I happen to be called, I am first and foremost: a servant, seeker and companion. I walk alongside and in the midst of. I listen. I offer guidance and reflection in the style of Anam Cara, often called soul companioning. I also sing, dance, write, lead, teach, preach and pray. All the ways that Spirit moves through me in the hopes of living a more embodied, more grace-filled Life. I believe that attunement is a way of being and I live day to day in service to this always unfolding understanding of myself and my calling. I tenderly stand as witness, holding space for others in many capacities and contexts to develop and deepen together in our humanness. To BE fully present in and from the heart and to bring forth the most authentic expression and experience of our true natures in our sacred world community.
A warm and welcoming, down-to-earth style, natural charisma and calm presence that conveys generosity of spirit

I am formally trained as an interfaith chaplain, celebrant and end-of-life doula, holding a Master of Divinity from Iliff School of Theology and 10 years of experience working as a hospital chaplain at 2 Northern Colorado hospitals. While I have engaged focused study and practice in Christianity and Buddhism, I am a contemplative by nature and am devoted to cultivating a simple, heart-centered life grounded in Presence, Truth and the peace that can be experienced in communion with the ancient, always Eternal Now.
I was once a touring singer/songwriter with two albums of original folk music but it wasn't until I met the world of sacred music while performing at a festival that my heart came alive and I found my life's purpose and calling. I play guitar, harmonium and have been a singer all of my life. I found my spiritual home in the Dances of Universal Peace of which I actively serve as a Dance leader and mentor and now as a recently appointed member of the DUP International Guidance Council, helping to tend and preserve the sacred lineage of the Dance tradition. I am so grateful for the enthusiasm and support of the Colorado Peace Dance community where I have led two thriving monthly Dance circles in Longmont and Lafayette, CO for 18 years.
I lead the Longmont Peace Dance on the 2nd Sundays of each month from 2-4pm at Longs Peak United Methodist Church, 1421 Elmhurst Dr. in Longmont, CO and the Lafayette Peace Dance on the 4th Sundays of each month from 11am-1pm with potluck to follow at Nyland Co-Housing Community Common House, 3525 Nyland Way in Lafayette, CO. I regularly lead and teach at Dance and sacred singing retreats throughout the USA, Mexico and Colombia, South America with my mentors and friends.
After many years of organizational service, I stepped into the role of executive director for Dances of Universal Peace North America. I am honored to serve as the co-director of El Jardin Interior in Salento, Colombia, alongside my partner on the Sufi Path, where we welcome Friends and seekers for spiritual retreats of contemplation and connection in the beautiful rain forest of the Andes Mountains of South America.
