About Jen
We are redefining what it means to live a spiritual life during this important time of transformation. Jennifer is honored to walk hand in hand and heart in heart with so many as an interfaith minister, chaplain, Dances of Universal Peace leader & mentor and Guide on the Sufi Path.
A warm, down-to-earth style, natural charisma and calm presence that conveys generosity of spirit
Jen shares a deeply sacred presence, blending teachings from Buddhism, Sufism and Christianity. She holds a Master of Divinity from The Iliff School of Theology and as a consulting minister of 20 years, Jen has experience speaking, singing and leading congregations and large groups. She traveled the country for seven years presenting musical church service programs at over 50 church congregations in the Unitarian Universalist and Unity traditions.
She is an accomplished musician, singing and playing guitar and harmonium. She is a Dance Leader and Mentor in the Dances of Universal Peace tradition and leads the monthly Longmont and Lafayette, Colorado Peace Dance circles. Jennifer leads frequently at Dance retreats and camps throughout the US, Mexico, Canada and Colombia, South America.
Jen has led sacred song and dance experiences at events around the world including the Parliament of the World's Religions 2018 in Toronto, Canada and in 2023 in Chicago, IL and at the General Assembly International gathering of Unitarian Universalist congregations.
She is also a frequent visiting Music Minister at The Iliff School of Theology in Denver co-leading retreats and workshops on sacred song, dance and movement and embodied spiritual leadership for future ministers and chaplains.
In 2023, Jennifer was honored to step into the role as Executive Director for Dances of Universal Peace North America and now serves as a member of the DUP International Guidance Council, helping to support Dance leaders and mentors worldwide to ensure the legacy of the Dance tradition. She is also currently on staff with Longmont United Hospital and Boulder Community Health Foothills Campus as a part-time chaplain. She is a consulting chaplain and officiant with Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont.
Jen loves celebrating wedding ceremonies and offers comfort and support for those navigating the grief process, working closely with families to co-create meaningful events that honor the life of loved ones.
